M-Lite is M-Brain’s new and lighter media monitoring solution

M-Brain has published a new and lighter media monitoring solution, M-Lite, which is a different alternative to more tailored M-Brain Update. M-Lite is a good solution for an immediate and fast information need. M-Lite covers both social and editorial media. It suits also well for persons who want to re-process the contents themselves for their organisation.

Customers receive a report of media hits whose content is selected and organized on the base of article relevance. There is a list of relevant headlines and a short extracts from the original texts in the report, and also a link to the original source. Part of the hits requires a sign-in or acquired reading rights, but this an only option to ensure that the monitoring conforms to all copyright laws.

Powerful technology in the background

M-Brain’s technology goes a step further than traditional search motors. M-Brain’s search is based on the hits’ content relevance which enables an automatic elimination of non-essential articles independent of the amount of search word hits. In addition, M-Lite filters out similar versions of the same content. Following the relevant headline and article summary is a list of other identical or almost identical sources which avoids a listing of the same mention several times.
