In the beginning of April, Riitta Salo started to work as M-Brain's head analyst. She has previously worked with UPM Kymmene. The transition from the forestry to the media world has been straightforward, despite the branch shift. In M-Brain, Riitta is responsible for M-Brain’s analyses and BI-skills development.
Riitta Salo brings strong analytical skills and experience in Knowledge Management in large organizations. In addition, Riitta has a unique knowledge of the forest sector, which supports in particular customer service development for the forest industry. UPM offered Riita interesting tasks in different parts of the organization: "I led UPM's Business Intelligence team for eight years, working in various configurations and in different parts of the organization. For example, I spent two years in Shanghai, working on the development of the company’s BI activities in Asia."
Riitta has been following M-Brain for a longer period: "I’ve been familiar with M-Brain for a long time. M-Brain is a growing and innovative company, and therefore also offers opportunities to develop my own skills."
